The suicide letter of Julia is all about her gender identity wherein in the blog that she posted in her own Tumblr, days before she committed suicide, could be found. She stated there that she is Demisexual, a person who is asexual but as time goes by will feel attraction to any gender because of the bond that they created together. in the same blog that she subtly stated that she is suffering from a gender dysphoria, condition that is more on emotion of the person that s/he wants to get rid of his/her body, in a simple explanation, she thinks that the body she had is not for her.
In the suicide note she also stated that the society can call her binary, a woman, even though she is already dead because she already know that the society she is living on is a country of homophobic and queerphobic country that is still not yet accepting gender that is not binary.
All in all, the society should not tell what should we do within ourselves, the only thing that we can do best is to make ourselves happy while not degrading and discriminating other people. People should learn that we cannot change what was done but we could be better for the sake of humanity, it is more like to learn a lesson that they do not have the rights to dictate what people must do in order to attain the norms that is present in the society. We should learn how to appreciate differences.
